Assam

Even anybody says assam we only recollect the tea plantations but there is too it!!!!! Assam is the home of several types of silks, the most prominent and prestigious being "Muga", the natural golden silk exclusive only to Assam. Assam is home to the one-horned Indian rhinoceros, along with the wild water buffalo, pygmy hog, tiger and various species of Asiatic birds, and provides one of the last wild habitats for the Asian elephant. So here the visitors can witness the beauty of green lush landscapes along with the experience of the wild habitat.
